Nesupuse atât rolurilor de gen rigide cât și imaginii în sine, femeile din UNDUTIFUL DAUGHTERS variază de la entități demiurgice la cele care se află printre noi în viața de zi cu zi, toate având în comun dorința de a transcede granițele tradiționale – ale societății, ale ficțiunii, ale reprezentării. Revendicând vrăjitoria și supra-naturalul, sexualitatea non-normativă și însăși viața proprie și dreptul la auto-determinare (ca urmare a traumei), aceste fiice neascultătoare trasează traiectorii ce subminează vechile construcții stereotipale legate de femeile malevolente, transformându-le în modele existențiale eliberatoare și empancipatoare.
