The underworld has always been a space of mystery, that invites people to set off on journeys that are both fascinating and frightening. It’s a metaphor that asks for introspection, reflection and reconsideration of the landmarks of individual and collective realities.
Loneliness lurks every islet on which is inhabited by the signs of death, in an avant-goth aesthetic which features luminous humanoids. In a sea of darkness, a boat traces the path of lost time, against the backdrop of whispered, posthumanist questions, and that of the sounds of mythological creatures from the underworld. This reflection on life finds its key in the representation of the soul that cannot flee from death. (Daria Barbu)
